Senior Compliance Specialist
Mike Rioux serves St.Germain & Associates as a Senior Compliance Specialist. He brings more than 23 years experience applying environmental regulations to a wide variety of educational, healthcare and industrial applications. Mr. Rioux specializes in developing environmental compliance programs, environmental auditing, air and wastewater permitting, compliance calendars, hazardous waste and closure activities. He also designs and conducts hazardous waste, universal waste and hazardous material training and prepares emergency response plans, including Integrated Contingency Plans. He has received extensive training in the interpretation and application of hazardous waste regulations and waste stream characterization. Mr. Rioux has developed long-standing professional relationships with state and federal environmental regulatory officials. Prior to joining St.Germain & Associates, Mr. Rioux was employed as President of MPR Environmental Management, Inc., Director of Compliance for Environmental Chemistry Consultants, Inc. and as Environmental Manager for Bath Iron Works at the Bath, Brunswick and Portland, Maine facilities.
